Judges

Learn more about the industry professionals who will be judging the awards, and the criteria they will be using to judge.

Our judging process

We want to make sure our awards are judged as fairly, professionally and transparently as possible, here you can learn the process on how our judges, their qualifications and experience and how they will pick the finalists. For full fairness and transparency judges and their businesses will be ineligible to enter the awards.

We have a wide panel of judges from various professions; this is because we want to make sure that each category is judged by someone with experience in that area of beauty and can truly make an informed decision about who is right. You will find listed on this page more information about these judges, their qualifications and experience, the categories they will be judging and any external links to learn a bit more about them, so be sure to have a look and get to know them a little. Once the nominations close, our team will collate each nomination, separate them into categories and hand them over to our judging panel. At this point our judges will independently review each and every submission and assign them a rating. After all ratings are finalised a list will be created, with the top scorers from each category forming our finalists.

If you are one of the incredible individuals or businesses to make it to this round then we would like to give each and every one of you a massive congratulations! After the finalists are selected we will send out communications across social media, our website and email with details of the finalists for each category. The judges will then meet to confer and confirm the winners, who will of course be announced on the big night itself… The Scottish Health & Fitness Awards Gala Dinner!
